1. Who we are
unspoolcode.com is operated by MetaBinary Limited, a company registered in Ireland (CRO 806119, VAT IE4698974FH), Office 40 — Boxworks, 40–44 Patrick Street, Waterford, X91 X3KF, Ireland (“UnspoolCode”, “we”, “us”). For data-protection purposes the controller is MetaBinary Limited. As an EU-established controller we are not required to appoint an EU representative; we have not appointed a Data Protection Officer — privacy matters are handled atprivacy@unspoolcode.com.
2. What we collect
This marketing website is deliberately low-data. UnspoolCode is currently in early access, and the site's primary purpose is a waitlist signup. We collect:
- Information you send us — if you join the waitlist, email us, or request early access, the contact details and message you provide.
- Preferences you set — your theme choice, stored locally in your browser (not sent to us).
- Cookie/consent choices — see Cookies.
- Server logs — our host may record standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) for security and reliability. IP addresses are personal data and are not used to profile you.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information.
3. Why, and our lawful basis

4. Cookies
We use only strictly-necessary and functional storage by default, and ask for consent before setting anything non-essential. Details and controls are in our Cookie Policy. You can change your choice any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer.
5. Who we share with
We share personal data only with service providers acting on our instructions (“processors”), under contract:
- Hosting / CDN — Hostinger International Ltd (site hosting; servers currently located in the United States) and Cloudflare, Inc. (CDN/security in front of the site).
- Payments — none yet; we do not collect payment details today. A payment processor will be named here if and when the service moves from waitlist to a paid offering (see theApp Privacy Policy).
- Email — Namecheap, Inc. (domain/mailboxes) and Resend, Inc. (transactional email delivery).
We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
6. International transfers
We are an Irish company; some of our service providers process data in the United States (our hosting servers are currently US-located, and Cloudflare, Namecheap and Resend are US companies). Where personal data of EEA/UK visitors is processed outside the EEA/UK, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the Standard Contractual Clauses, with appropriate supplementary safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
Waitlist and enquiry correspondence: kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted. Server logs: 90 days. Consent records: for the life of the consent plus a short audit period.
8. Your rights
EU/UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability, plus the right to withdraw consent and to complain to your supervisory authority (in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission).
California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of sale/sharing (we do neither), without discrimination.
